Physician's In-Flight Illness - Raising Canes, San Antonio Texas

6 years ago reported by user-yqvjj419 business

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, Airport Boulevard, San Antonio, TX, USA

9800 Airport Boulevard, San Antonio, 78216 Texas, United States

I am an emergency physician so I know about food poisoning. I was in my normal state of health. Had a breakfast sandwich and hash brown potatoes at 6am ish on Sunday morning on October 6th. 2 hrs later I broke into a cold sweat and vomited for the next 4-6 hrs. I was extremely nauseous. It was so bad I was stuck in the plane lavatory for 2 hrs and they asked me if I needed paramedics off the plane. Luckily I avoided the emergency room but this is as ill as I’ve felt in maybe a decade. This resolved within about 8 hrs and other than not wanting to eat any food, I was feeling like i was coming back to normal. I am 100% sure this was food and I had nothing else to eat and also had no other symptoms. I would be surprised if others didn’t get the same illness. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Sweating
