Moldy Bread Causes Illness - Mold, Seattle Washington

9 months ago reported by user-xfkh5588 business

Red Apple Market, Beacon Avenue South, Seattle, WA, USA

2701 Beacon Avenue South, Seattle, 98144 Washington, United States

I bought a loaf of bread about a week ago.I noticed it was moldy so I avoided the moldy patch and ate the rest of the loaf anyway. Now I am sick, not severely sick but I have a soar throat, runny nose and developing a cough. This is not normal for me, and I think the food at Red Apple has something to do with it. | Symptoms: Runny Nose, Cough

A sore throat and runny nose are viral symptoms, not foodborne pathogen symptoms. This is irrelevant to food poisoning...

Hi, thank you very much for the comment. Symptoms of foodborne illnesses typically involve the gastrointestinal system and include issues like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps. A sore throat and runny nose are more commonly associated with viral infections such as the common cold or flu. However, it's important to note that individual responses to pathogens can vary, and in some cases, foodborne pathogens may cause atypical symptoms. Always consult a healthcare professional for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Iwaspoisoned Support.
