Cobb Salad & Shake Illness - Ruby's Diner, Yorba Linda California

7 of us ate at Ruby's Diner in Yorba Linda after a girls softball game. It was about 12-1:00. We drove back to Beaumont, Ca where we live and I started experiencing nausea about 2-2 1/2 hours after eating. I ate a Cobb Salad and chocolate milkshake. Not long after feeling nauseous, I started throwing up. Somewhat later I got diarrhea. I threw up about one half gallon or more of liquid filled "stuff". This went on for 8 hours. I did not go to the doctor because I was so ill and constant throwing up and it was late on a Saturday night (11/19/16) and I would have had to wait in the local emergency room because our Urgent Care was closed down.
