My roommates and me arrived at the restaurant and ordered around 7 o’clock and got our food by 7:30. I recently purchased a bag of Black Forest Organic Gummy Bears. I get them all the time. But this time there was a big problem with one of the gummies in the bag. I was eating a few gummy bears from a package of organic gummy bears.... See More I regularly get these and have never had an issue. Today, however, when I put a gummy in my mouth, something was off. The texture was wrong when I bit down on it. It felt rubbery and tasted horrible. I quickly spit it out and the gummy bear had a thick rubber like coating around it that I've never seen on anything like this before. It hurt when I chewed on it and it was very hard in the center like something was inside of it. It had a rubber like smell to it as well. It looks almost as if a piece of machinery or a moulding came lose and ended up in the candy. I didn't realize a small piece had stuck inside my mouth after spitting it out. When I breathed in, the piece became stuck in the back of my throat and I had to manually use my finger to dislodge it so I wouldn't continue to choke on it.
