Food Safety Report: Ruby Tuesday, Town Commons Drive, Estero, FL, United States

Ruby Tuesday, Town Commons Drive, Estero, FL, United States

21301 Town Commons Drive, Estero, 33928 Florida, United States

My husband and I ate at approx 7:30-8:00 on Friday Aug 11, 2017. I woke from a sound sleep with awful stomach pain, then the diarreah started with cramps. Then simultaneously, I began vomiting. This continued for a couple of hours until I took some antinausea medicine I had leftover from when I had surgery. I also have celiac disease and was concerned I might have consumed wheat/gluten,(even though I ordered off the gluten free menu). That kind of severe reaction usually only happens when I consume anything with flour base (like a sauce) by accident. I called the restaurant and was "passed around" to several people, who then opted to say I would hear from a district mgr, today.....I did not. I also asked the general mgr. to read me the list of ingredients in the mashed potatoes-she told me she was not allowed to. They are premade by a food service-not made there. So all that being said-I think it was classic food poisoning, which knocked me out for the entire weekend. Very disappointing. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps
