I found two shards of glass or clear plastic in a whole chicken I bought from Safeway on 12/8/24. It was buried in the meat. Before I cooked the meat, and before I noticed the contaminant, I observed that the chicken giblets were messier and more chopped up than usual (I buy whole chickens from Safeway often, and the inside of the chicken has never looked like this before). The glass or plastic was inside of the meat of a signature farms whole young chicken with giblets, which I bought uncooked and then cooked at home.
