Chicken Causes Severe Illness - Sainsbury's, England

1 month ago reported by user-rbykt723 business

Sainsbury's Local, 33 Charterhouse Street, London, UK

33 Charterhouse Street, EC1M 6HJ England, United Kingdom

About half an hour after purchase of four ready-cooked whole chickens, I ate half of one, after putting the other three in the freezer. This was my first food of the day. Within two hours I experienced excruciating lower belly pain, followed by cramps, diarrhoea, a feeling of fever, lightheadedness and nausea. After the diarrhoea, the symptoms receded slightly with the application of a hot water bottle on my belly - until... the vomiting happened. And happened, And happened, And happened. Followed by further diarrhoea and cramping and then vomiting again, And again. As I write, the cramping and nausea persists and there is one helluva headache. My body wanted that OUT!!! EDIT (the day after): I shared the chicken yesterday with my cat and my dog. This morning my cat began screaming in pain, then vomited all over the place. Dog appears to be ok so far. Fingers crossed... | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Fever, Lightheaded
