I bought a smoked haddock risotto (£3) from my local store at around 1pm on Monday 19th April 2021. When I got back to work to cook it, I noticed the packaging was slightly loose. Initially I had chosen one from the back of the shelf as there seemed to be some leakage on the others. Perhaps the one I’d chosen had been at fault. The food smelled fine and tasted fine. A few hours later, around midnight, I developed severe aches and pains all over my body; followed by stomach cramps and nausea. I had to rush to the loo to vomit and this was violently followed by diarrhoea with repeat occurrences during the night.
