June 20-June 23 2022. Waitress took my insulated tumbler that I prepared a drink of scotch for myself in our room, and went to "refill" it. When she returned to pool with my tumbler, the drink tasted different. I mentioned it to my travel partner who also tasted it. He said that's not scotch. Kept sipping it some more. 15 mins later, back in the room, I experienced seizures and unconsciousness. They rushed me to the local hospital, where I had more seizures. Was in hospital rest of vacation. Upon return home, follow up indicated healthy, never had seizures before or since trip. Dr's determined poisoning in drink, but since hospital did not do toxicology, hard to say what type.All good now, resort will not refund trip. Missed majority of the stay. Will not return. Travelers beware. Do not let them take your cups away and out of view. Prepare your own drinks. | Symptoms: Other
