On or around 4/11/26 my father and my husband both ate chicken at Shogun restaurant on Foothill Blvd in Pasadena, CA. Within a short time, both developed gastrointestinal symptoms including abdominal pain and diarrhea, consistent with foodborne illness. My father’s symptoms were severe enough to require emergency room care. Upon evaluation, he presented with abdominal pain, diarrhea,. Lab work showed an elevated white blood cell count (WBC), indicating active infection, and an elevated creatinine, suggesting dehydration and kidney stress from the illness. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Dehydration, Gas
