Many years ago I had tried to eliminate sugar from my diet, so I started using Splenda. The sweetener began having an effect on me about a month or so after using it. I couldn't find anything else to be cause of my sudden problems with my arthritic issues in my feet. My muscle aches around my lower legs and my feet were so peculiar that I didn't know what was going on. I had visited a number of doctors, and when I stopped using Splenda, suddenly I had no issues with walking again. I will never use Splenda or anything that contains it again. | Symptoms: Body Ache, Muscle Pain

This is actually really common when you use splenda or stevia. However, Stevia is more natural so I would try that.
