Sore throat is not a symptom of food poisoning. Flu and covid have sore throat and gastro intestinal symptoms though.

In the case of Streptococcus, a foodborne illness, one of the symptoms can indeed be a sore throat. This is often accompanied by inflammation and white patches may or may not appear on the throat. Other symptoms can include pain on swallowing, high fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, malaise, and rhinorrhea.
