I had the Trust Me at Sugarfish in Santa Monica and my date had The Nozawa. Our meals were identical save for a few extra dishes on my date’s menu, including one he did not eat. It was the last dish, halibut, and I ate it. Later that evening, I got wretched food poisoning - diarrhea, vomiting, sweats, terrible cramps and stomach discomfort. My symptoms were so severe that I had to take off work. I’m convinced it was the halibut that was either contaminated or wasn’t cooked properly because my date had no symptoms. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
