This happened back in Dec. 2016, but I just found this website and thought it was worth sharing. I stopped for a cheesy gordita crunch and immediately my stomach hurt. 2 days passed, no additional symptoms until I developed severe stomach cramps, and had large amounts of blood (blood clots) in my stool. The back pain, fever, bloody stool continued for another 24 hours before I was brought to the ER and tested for e-coli poisoning. I had severe infections in both my kidneys and bladder. I needed 4 rounds of antibiotics before the e-coli was finally killed. The last round of antibiotics was given via IV. Taco bell had to be the cause as my boyfriend and I cook/ meal prep and that was the only meal I had differently during the week from him and my parents. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Cramps, Bloody Stool, Body Ache
