Ahi Poke Bowl Illness - Tamura's Fine Wine & Liquors Waialae, Honolulu Hawaii

4 years ago reported by user-nztdg821 business

Tamura's Fine Wine & Liquors Waialae, Waialae Avenue, Honolulu, HI, USA

3496 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu, 96816 Hawaii, United States

Both my husband and me have been patrons for a decade now, but both of our stomachs were messed up during our usual evening surf. We both had the ahi poke bowls (spicy ahi for him and tamura’s special for me with furikake $13.99 each) in the new cardboard tray boxes and notice the color was a bit gray, but we’ve been coming here for a long time and with the price of ahi has gone up we overlooked it. It tasted like the usual, just a tad warmer and softer. Big mistake. He shat himself in the water at Diamond Head paddling out and I barely made it to the toilet, let alone driving our as*es home. We ended up getting it from both ends and I have a bad case of cramps. I talked with my mother, who’s a nurse insists it’s food poisoning. Don’t overlook color by trust. Go with your instinct. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Other, Cramps
