Duck Curry Food Poisoning - The Thonglor SF - Thai Restaurant, San Francisco California

1 year ago reported by user-qrkn2275 business

The Thonglor SF - Thai Restaurant, Geary Street, San Francisco, CA, USA

420 Geary Street, San Francisco, 94102 California, United States

My partner and I ate here on Sunday night 12/1. A few hours later we expirienced the worst food poisoning ever- vomiting, chills, headache; diahrrea. We both were hospitalized and we verified it was from the duck curry. Reached out to the owner and he refused a refund, accused us of “ lying”. Do not eat here! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache

The owner of this restaurant should face legal consequences, and the restaurant should be shut down to prevent further harm, as what happened to you is very serious and could endanger others. A restaurant owner who refuses accountability and calls customers liars, even when presented with proof, demonstrates more than just unprofessional behavior. That could warrant the suspension of their license and possibly a lifetime ban from operating any food-related business. I recommend taking the following actions immediately: 1. Report to health authorities to investigate food safety violations; 2. File a lawsuit for negligence or personal injury, seeking compensation for medical costs and damages. 3. Claim breach of contract since the restaurant failed to provide safe food; 4. Pursue defamation, because the owner accused you of lying (shame on them); 5. File under consumer protection laws, which might offer compensation. Consulting a lawyer and documenting everything is crucial. Best of luck, and I hope you get the justice you deserve after all you’ve been through!
