Café Sickness Cancels Plans - Tim Hortons, Hamilton Ontario

2 years ago reported by user-vyvfp421 business

Tim Hortons, Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton, ON, Canada

897 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton, L9A 3R8 Ontario, Canada

Like every morning yesterday my husband and I bought our coffee there, and at the end of the day we had all the symptoms of intoxication and this continues until today, we had to cancel our appointments (some charged us because of their cancellation policy) and take a sick day at work, so we haven't been able to eat or drink anything for 24 hours, | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

Hi, thanks for your comment. According to the CDC “stomach bug” is one of the common ways to call Norovirus, along with “stomach flu”. Norovirus is a very contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea and it is the leading cause of foodborne illness. You can get norovirus from: - Having direct contact with an infected person. - Consuming contaminated food or water. - Touching contaminated surfaces and then putting your unwashed hands in your mouth.
