Frozen Chicken Illness Scare - Trader Joe's, La Quinta California

2 years ago reported by user-hpcqx488 business

Trader Joe's, Washington Street, La Quinta, CA, USA

46400 Washington Street, La Quinta, 92253 California, United States

I bought frozen chicken breasts from Trader Joe’s, don’t remember when. Cooked them last nite. Shortly after dinner, I was getting stomach pains. Then then vomiting started. After about 1/2 hr. The vomiting resumed, along with diarrhea. I lied down a bit, then had to rush to the restroom again having the vomiting again w/diarrhea. Finally in the morning it seemed that it all passed and I did feel better. I’ve always trusted Trader Joe’s, but I feel apprehensive about buying chicken at TJs, or anywhere for that matter. I know this can happen anywhere, but it’s just scary when chicken can go bad and it’s put in our stores to feed our families. I am a widow, so it was just me that got sick. Story is up above I just want to express the importance of chicken is frozen then possibly thaw out in delivery then re-frozen and put in the stores to sell. 100% care for the chicken is most important. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
