Severe Reaction to Sambar - Viks Chaat, Berkeley California

This is the second time the sambar (lentil soup) tasted very off and extremely salty like something was wrong. However, this time much more severe. Within 8 hours I was nauseated, vomiting, had diarrhea, feeling completely unwell. I can now barely eat. Hoping this will be over with time.

Follow up: I found out it was norovirus. This was the second time in one year I got norovirus and had just been to Viks. I have never gone back there. They have very poor hygiene practices!! I've seen some of the workers handle my food with bare hands and dirty finger nails. I don't trust this place anymore. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills
