Thin Mints Illness Report - Walmart, Aberdeen North Carolina

Thin mints ate 1/2 sleeve and within an hour I was vomiting, nausea, cramping, diarrhea for days | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps
Why would someone assume this was food poisoning? If you get sick within an hour of eating a food and it's not just your body disagreeing with you, that's generally caused by the enterotoxins released by staphylococcus aureus. Which does not just show up on thin mints. It would have to be chemical poisoning, in which case many people would have it. This was, in all likelihood, a totally unrelated virus. Just because you ate before you got sick does not make it food poisoning.

Hi SM, it could be food poisoning, via chemical, biological or physical contamination, and the attribution may be accurate. We thank GR and every consumer for speaking up, on this important and under-reported public health menace. Every report is the opportunity to start discovery, learn, and protect others.
