While visiting family, my grandparents decided to get my two toddlers lucky charms as a fun breakfast treat. We stayed with various family throughout our trip so it took me a while to put together the pieces of what was going on. Randomly on and off throughout the trip both of my kids at the same time complained of stomach pain and had diarrhea. I assumed it was because we were eating out more than usual, we hardly ever eat out back home. So I cut back on fast food. And since it seemed to be inconsistent I hadn’t been able to pinpoint what my kids were sensitive to. Until today, both kids had a bowl for breakfast. A couple hours later they both complained of stomach pain. My daughter had a more severe reaction with bright green diarrhea leaving her with a horrible rash. It almost seemed acidic, no matter how quickly or well I helped her clean up it left her skin raw. She has been miserable in pain. I finally connected the dots when I noticed the color today, realizing that their nausea was always following having lucky charms for breakfast. My kids like to pick out the marshmallows because that’s their favorite part, as I’m sure it is for many kids, and I observed that the more marshmallows they ate, the worse they felt. After coming across other reports I’m shocked that I didn’t know about this sooner. I never would have allowed my kids to eat it.. Ordered through Walmart grocery delivery from Walmart supercenter on Platte | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Green Stool
