Expired Guac Causes Illness - Walmart, El Paso Texas

3 years ago reported by user-rmjn3699 business

Walmart Supercenter, North Zaragoza Road, El Paso, TX, USA

1850 North Zaragoza Road, El Paso, 79936 Texas, United States

I bought three containers of Wholly Guacamole on August 1, 2022. I ate from one container on August 5, 2022 and by that night I was nauseous, and began vomiting with diarrhea, this continued for the next 12 hours. I couldn’t keep down anything. I was weak and nauseous for the next 48 hours only able to sip liquids and eat a few crackers every couple of hours. I thought I had gotten a stomach virus. I ate from another container today and about 2 hours later the nausea started. Since that was the only thing I had eaten, I decided to check the container. It had expired July 5, 2022! It had been expired for almost a month when I bought it! Since packaged guacamole does not show any signs of rotting until it has been opened, I had no idea it was expired! Round 2 of food poisoning I’m sure will commence in the next few hours. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
