1 year ago reported by user-dykxt211 business

Walmart Supercenter, Northwest Loop 410, San Antonio, TX, USA

5025 Northwest Loop 410, San Antonio, 78229 Texas, United States

Ate approximately 2.servings. Onset was 2-4 hours. Woke up in medical shock, diaphoretic, weak, shaky. Had projectile vomiting and hemorrhagic diarrhea. Reported it to Hormel Foods. They didn't believe it. Said if it were true, there would be other cases. (Looks like I just found them). 37600 11075. Best if used by 7/22/24.

Skippy smooth peanut butter was the culprit. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Weakness, Shaking

What did the hospital tests show as the pathogen? I just ate some with the same number you said, though it expires may 2025. Assuming they tested for microbial pathogens? This should definitely be reported to Hormel, your local board of health, maybe the FDA.

Was it the hormel or the peanut butter and how can peanut butter cause these symptoms??

Hi, thanks for your comment. TIP: Eating rancid peanut butter can lead to tummy troubles like cramps, diarrhea, or vomiting. In severe situations, it can also give you Salmonella. This can be life-threatening in extreme cases.
