Food Safety Report - Wayback Burgers, Royersford Pennsylvania

4 years ago reported by user-ytwq2872 business

Wayback Burgers, East Ridge Pike, Royersford, PA, USA

1810 East Ridge Pike, Royersford, 19468 Pennsylvania, United States

My husband and I ate last night between 4:00 - 4:30 p.m. (Feb 15, 2020).

At about 5:30 p.m. my husband started not feeling well -- the nausea, fatigue and agitation started. By 7:30 p.m. he had SEVERE stomach pain, extremely nauseous and as we got to the door of the Emergency Room of our local hospital - he vomited -- 3 times!

The hospital gave him Zofron for nausea and Toradol for abdominal pain. We are quite certain it was the hotdog he ate. I had the cheeseburger and was fine.

Upon calling the food place today, I spoke to the Manager (who we believe to be the owner's elderly father) and when I told him I was just concerned if anyone else had reported being ill after eating hotdogs there he said "no complaint hotdog" He did not seem concerned at all when I told him my husband was extremely sick last night and we had to go to the Emergency Room for treatment. He said again "no complaint hotdog".

I then decided to see if this restaurant had any inspection violations - and boy did I hit the jackpot there! The Montgomery County Health Department was JUST in this Wednesday (Feb. 12, 2020) and found 6 violations. And upon further reading found that on 2 previous visits -- there were violations there too !

He (the elderly Manager) told me someone would call me...we shall see.. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fatigue
