I’ve drank almost a whole bottle of Benner, their, diet, peach tea and got violently ill, pretty quickly: throwing up but then after it all came up, I had dry heaves for 5.5 more hours, explosive diarrhea at the same time and became so weak. I called... See More my doctor he right away suggested it was food poisoning from the tea and asked me if I thought the peach tea had turned, and then prescribed Zofran to stop the vomiting. My husband picked up the Zofran right before the only Walgreens that was still open was about to close. This was Monday, February 27 and today is the 28th. I layed in bed all day Tuesday and couldn’t eat. I am still nauseous but better. I noticed the skin of my lips were peeling off either from the acid from my stomach or from being dehydrated, which is not something I normally get. I will return the product to the manager when I feel I can stand up long enough to do that. I had trouble with their fresh chicken a few years ago, but I kept being a loyal customer. I just stopped buying the Chicken. Now I will stop buying the diet peach tea. Also, I might add that today Tuesday I was so wiped out from weakness. I slept on my neck wrong and now I Have a lidocaine patch on my neck from the pain. I am 67 years old. My Family and I ate at Texas De Brazil on Monday, 10/30/23. The Meats were very undercooked, raw, chewy, and full of gristle. There were several meats and even the Filet Mignon that were very fatty, chewy, full of gristle, practically not edible. However, being at a... See More ‘nicer’ restaurant with only cloth napkins and no extra plates, we had 2 family members choose to swallow the ridiculously chewy meats whole, when they were unable to break the meats down with excessive chewing, they just swallowed the bites down whole, instead of trying to discreetly discard (spit them out) the chewy meats. We lingered and chatted awhile after dinner & then proceeded our drive home, we live about an hour from the restaurant, we had one family member that nearly didn’t make it home to the bathroom. Family Members #1 & # 2: both had explosive diarrhea within the first 2 hours of eating there, followed by several rounds of diarrhea, stomach cramps, and vomiting over the past several days. Family Members #3 & #4: both went to bed nauseated, and woke up 6-8 hours after eating dinner violently vomiting, followed by several more rounds of diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps for several days after eating there. Wine Country Gift Baskets is voluntarily recalling all gift baskets produced with Acorn Baking Company raspberry crème filled cookies. During production, it was discovered that some packages of the raspberry crème filled cookies contained hazelnut crème filled cookies. Hazelnut is a tree nut and listed as one... See More of the nine major food allergens. The allergen statement on each individual cookie package states “May Contain Traces of Peanuts, Hazelnuts, Almonds, Sesame, Sulphites” as these two cookies are produced in the same facility. No injuries or illnesses have been reported. These products were distributed in the United States.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to tree nuts (hazelnuts) run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products.
