Child Sick After IMAX Shake - Yellowstone Giant Screen Theatre, West Yellowstone Montana

6 years ago reported by user-rtyd6274 business

Yellowstone Giant Screen Theatre, South Canyon Street, West Yellowstone, MT, USA

101 South Canyon Street, West Yellowstone, 59758 Montana, United States

July 1, 2019. My 10 year old daughter made a f’real shake at around 5pm at the IMAX theatre and drank 3/4 of it through the first 15-20 minutes of the show. The show lasted until 5:50. We rode our bikes to dinner (just a few blocks). She said her stomach was hurting and she didn’t want dinner. Between 6:15-8:00 PM she complained of more severe cramping in her stomach and nausea (we headed back to our campsite after dinner and arrived back at 8PM). She had the same symptoms until she vomited at around 9:30PM. She vomited every 1/2hr to 45 minutes until 2:30AM (July 2, 2019). My daughter became feverish at 4AM. I do not know what her temp was because we were camping and I did not bring a thermometer. She was hot to touch and chilling. I gave her Tylenol and some water (first time I let her swallow water since she vomited...had only some ice cubes before that). She slept until 7:15 AM. She spiked another fever at 12:15 and I gave her Tylenol. It is now 1PM (July 2) and she is still nauseated, however no vomiting. She has had nothing to eat since the shake. She has been keeping down sips of water and Gatorade. | Symptoms: Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps
