Panang Curry Illness Suspected - Your Choice Restaurant, Santa Barbara California

8 years ago reported by user-cjfd4446 business

Your Choice Restaurant, State Street, Santa Barbara, CA, United States

3404 State Street, Santa Barbara, 93105 California, United States

Yesterday started normal and I felt fine as usual. I had panang curry with mixed vegetables and two Thai iced teas for lunch at Your Choice and finished about 1pm. By 4-5pm my stomach felt hard, bloated and in pain. By 6 pm I felt extremely nauseous. By 7:30pm I started vomiting; I have not vomited in more than 20 years despite several bouts of the flu in this timeframe. The vomiting continued over the course of and hour until there was no liquid left in me. I was also shivering and quite cold whenever I got out of bed to vomit. Sometime around 11pm I started having very watery diahrerea. It is now 24 hours later and I've eaten nothing, nor can I eat. I like this restaurant and have been a frequent customer, but this was too much. Some of the vegetables in the curry were very wilted and almost black looking, but I didn't think anything of it at the time, nor did the food taste bad. This does not feel like a typical flu, and had a very fast onset. I am not a doctor, nor have I seen one for this, but it is my personal opinion that I am suffering from food poisoning. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Bloating, Stomach Pain
