The Wood County Health Department is currently investigating an E. Coli Outbreak in the County. This outbreak was informed at Thursday's board of health meeting.According to the news, Wood County experienced a total of 27 E. coli cases in the last five and a half years. In the last week, 15 known cases of E. coli have been identified, including 5 that required hospitalization. So far, they do not know the source, tests are being conducted by the Ohio Department of Health to see if there is a link between the cases. The results are expected back next Tuesday.
