New Cyclospora Outbreak Investigation Ongoing (#1390)

Update July 22nd, 2026:
The FDA has updated its advisory for the multistate outbreak of Cyclospora infections linked to iceberg lettuce. The agency provided additional information about its ongoing investigation and reported that Taylor Farms de Mexico voluntarily recalled certain iceberg lettuce products due to the potential risk of Cyclospora contamination.

The FDA continues its investigation into the source of the outbreak, including traceback and sampling activities.

A new outbreak of Cyclospora has been reported (ref #1390), affecting an unspecified number of individuals across various locations in the USA. The outbreak, linked to an unidentified product, is currently under investigation by the FDA and CDC.
