Investigators are looking into possible food poisoning after 45 Middle School students fell ill Monday afternoon at Starmount High School in Boonville, NC, according to the news.

Sixth graders began complaining about feeling nauseous with headaches. Some students had thrown up. Only sixth graders were affected, according to the Yadkin County Schools superintendent.

Yadkin County Schools and the Yadkin County Health Department are investigating the strange illness that affected the students and looking into possible food poisoning however the cause is still unknown.
