In a recent announcement, the Department of Agriculture has issued a warning to consumers regarding certain raw milk products from Apple Valley Creamery. The products, sold under the 'Pure Pastures Dairy' label, have been found to be contaminated with Campylobacter. The contaminated products have been distributed in 12 Pennsylvania counties. Apple Valley Creamery is cooperating with the Department of Agriculture to address the issue and ensure the safety of their products. The source of the contamination is currently under investigation.

- Sell-by dates of April 3, 2024, through today.

The Department of Agriculture is urging consumers who have purchased these products to discard them immediately to avoid potential health risks and return the product to the store where was purchased.

In case you experience Campylobacter symptoms such as diarrhea (often bloody), fever, nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps, report it now. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
