Update January 29th, 2026:
The outbreak has expanded to include Salmonella Typhimurium and a new outbreak strain of Salmonella Newport. Since the previous update, 20 additional illnesses have been reported. As of January 29, 2026, the CDC reports 65 confirmed cases across 28 states, including 14 hospitalizations.

Additionally, Superfoods, Inc. expanded its recall to include nationwide distribution, U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands), and international distribution to consumers in the United Kingdom. The firm also updated recall information related to net weight labeling for certain Wild Berry products.
The FDA and CDC continue to investigate, including ongoing traceback and inspection activities. This advisory will be updated as new information becomes available.
