Dozens of Camden students were sent to local hospitals after drinking milk served in milk cartons in various schools in the city. At least 64 students were “impacted” by the incident.An investigation by officials implicated Guida’s Dairy milk cartons made by Vortexx. Some of the samples examined were found to be contaminated. Officials described the contamination as 'a non-toxic consumable sanitizer that runs through the vendor machines prior to milk'. Symptoms for some students included vomiting.
