Salmonella concern causes recall of Solo Chorizo – Dried Beef Sausage in Canada

CFIA announced a recall of Solo Chorizo – Dried Beef Sausage (Amsellem brand) by Usine Amsellem Inc. because it may be contaminated with Salmonella. There have been no illnesses linked to this recall.CFIA advises consumers to discard the recalled products and to return them to the place of purchase. The following is the recalled product and was potentially distributed nationwide:
- Amsellem. Solo Chorizo – Dried Beef Sausage (28g). UPC: 6 28055 38930 9. Codes: 91002DC-707 BB 2020 AVR 08.
