I had two spicy chicken sandwiches yesterday from here yesterday around 5pm. About 3 hours later I suffered extreme stomach pain and diarrhea all night. I hadn’t eaten anything else that day so it had to have been that. It’s the next morning and I’m still cramping
and getting sick. Just wanted to let someone know so no one has to feel like I feel right now.

Friday evening, July 22, 2022, I ate a Spicy Chicken Filet and Salad from here. My husband ate something else and did not get sick. He ate my salad, so the chicken was the culprit. Within a few hours my heart was pounding, with a severe headache
and severe abdominal cramps. I then had bloody diarrhea and heavy sweating. When I tried to get my husband, I blacked out and collapsed to the floor, unconscious for several seconds. When I awoke, I was paralyzed and could not speak. Then my speech was slurred. I couldn't get up, and my husband couldn't get me up. I laid on the floor until, I was able to get to my feet. I was sick all night, and had chills. I went to the ED and Food Poisoning was confirmed. The bleeding lasted for three days! My labs confirmed food poisoning, and a CT Scan, confirmed Acute Colitis. I am taking an antibiotic. Six days later, I am feeling better, but not 100%. My appetite has not fully returned. I thought that I was dying! I will never eat there again!

On Thursday June 10th I ate half of an 8-count nuggets. I started feeling nauseous about 3 hours later. I also gave my dog one nugget in her usual dinner. She threw up about 30 minutes later. We both had diarrhea the next day.

Tropicale Foods of Modesto, CA is voluntarily recalling 5,224 units of Helados Mexico Mini Cream Variety Pack with best by date of “MO Best By 10/11/2025”, because the mango bars in the variety pack have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Product was distributed at retail
locations in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virgina, Wisconsin, West Virgina, Washington, DC, and certain locations in Europe. No illnesses have been reported to date.
