symptoms. I was sent home after a few hours, but I had vomited so much that my abdominal muscles were sore for a week afterwards. I had petichiae around my eyes from straining to vomit as well. Almost a month later and I still am not completely back to normal. I have never been so violently ill from food in my life. The product recalled is the Maketū Pies brand Mussel Pie, weighing 200g. The batch marking is 090424, with a use by date of 25th April 2024 for fresh pies, and a best before date of 15th March 2025 for frozen pies.

The product has not been exported. This recall does not affect any other Maketū Pies brand products. Customers are asked to check the batch and date mark on the front of the packaging. People with a fish allergy should not consume this product and should return it to their retailer for a full refund.
