Dual Infection After Quesadilla

My daughter had a chicken quesadilla earlier this week and today she was diagnosed with an E. Coli and Salmonella infection in her intestines. Not sure if this is where she got the Salmonella from or not. Her friend got the chicken quesadilla there and didn’t get sick.
