Scombroid Poisoning from Salmon

I thought salmon felt slimy. I cooked some and froze the rest in small portions. I was sick within an hour. A week later I tried another from the freezer. Same thing. Internet says it is scombroid usually caused from lack of refrigeration. This was a delivery.
