Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis.

If you purchased this product, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.

In case you are experiencing Salmonella symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.

11/30/2022 I purchased a meatball sandwich at Subway around 9pm at the Broadway and Fremont Blvd location and woke up the next morning with immediate urge to vomit and diarrhea. Vommitted 12 times with diarrhea. Went to the hospital nearly unconscious. Ended up getting Colitis and Chronic … See More
Gastritis from the bad bacteria in the meat and me vomiting. I tried contacting the owner several times leaving messages to their employees which he never returned. Spent alot of $ on hospital bills and I am now living with gastritis and abdominal issues. I should sue them. The owner needs to ensure proper food quality is being provided to the public employees. Chances are the temperature wasn't hot enough to kill all bacteria and it caused me massive digestive issues.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Gas

Ate a cheeseburger with everything on it (onions included) on Saturday, April 6th around 7:30pm. By 9:30pm that night I was nauseous and vomiting. Over the next 12 hours I was in the bathroom either vomiting or having diarrhea. My boyfriend had a double-double with just cheese … See More

Not sure if it was from undercooked meat or bad veggies. Now it’s Tuesday and I still don’t feel good at all…  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain

Smoothie King, Rand Road, Palatine, IL, USA

4 days ago reported by user-rgzk7682

I ordered a Vegan Nutty Super Grain on 4/9. After finishing the 40 ounces, a few hours later, I became deathly ill (throwing up/diarrhea at the same time). While I was drinking the smoothie, it didn't taste right - for example, the peanut butter didn't really taste … See More
like peanuts. The throwing up lasted for over 24 hours, and also consisted of diarrhea. My wife ordered a smoothie from the same Smoothie king on on 4/5 (Vegan Mocha Cold Brew) - and only drank half of her 32 ounce smoothie - because it didn't taste right. She also threw up horribly for 12 hours, and then had a fever after. I will NOT be going back to this location, or any other smoothie king location. My wife and I called over TWICE - to the store and corporate, and they could care less. We're still waiting for the call back from Smoothie King (which won't happen, as they just say that). NOT trying to get anything out of this, except warning others they'll get sick if they order from this location. You messed up Smoothie king, I was spending $50 per week, which will now be $0.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
