Tuna Sandwich Salmonella Alert

On March 10, 2026 at approximately 1:30pm I ate a tuna fundido sandwich at Pita Jungle Desert Ridge, 20910 N Tatum Blvd 140, Phoenix AZ 85050. Within 4 hours I developed severe fever, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. I was hospitalized for 4 nights. Salmonella spp. was confirmed by PCR stool panel  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Fever, Chills
