The customer service was horrible the drive thru girl was rude and kept rushing us to finish our order and wouldn’t let us talk. I Ordered my food which included a large macaroni. They told me they were out of mac so i asked for a refund.... See More Instead of giving me a refund they said they were making more that it will take 6 minutes. Mind you its only 7 and they close at 10pm. We sat in the front for a good 25 minutes before going in to ask if our food was ready. They acted like they couldn’t find our order and also was being very rude when we asked them for ketchup and bbq sauce. The lady at the drive thru to old us they were out of everything. There is a chance it could've been the zinc I took, but I haven't had this happen before when I had taken my zinc on an empty stomach. I was experiencing gas pains as well. After drinking some milk in hopes to calm my stomach (not my brightest idea), I immediately went to the bathroom and threw up the entire contents of my stomach. The food from last night wasn't visible, but I felt a bit better. Then, I drank water and ate some apple sauce and toast which are usually pretty safe foods when my stomach is upset. Immediately felt like I had to poop and throw up, and ran to the bathroom again. Throw up until I dry heaving and almost sh*t myself (pardon the French). In addition, after the second time I got weird sharp tingles all over my body like I needed to itch everywhere. Not sure if that was related but it was pretty alarming so I thought I would include it. I drank some water right after and couldn't even keep that down. Now I'm not feeling as nauseous since I haven't eating or drank anything after that last time, but I'm having diarrhea. I love them but I'm not sure I'll eat there again. :(

The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 3,436 pounds of boneless beef chuck product by Elkhorn Valley Packing because it may be contaminated with Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) O103. This product was shipped to distributors, federal establishments, retail locations, and wholesale locations, which includes hotels, restaurants,... See More and institutions, in Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of this product.
The recalled product is:
- Various weights corrugated boxes containing “Elkhorn Valley Pride Angus Beef 61226 BEEF CHUCK 2PC BNLS; Packed on 2/16/23.” The complete list of serial numbers and box count numbers for the boneless beef chuck product that are subject to recall can be found in the image below.
The product subject to recall was packed on Feb. 16, 2023 and bears the Establishment number “EST. M-19549” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The recall was initiated when FSIS testing of ground beef derived from the product revealed a positive result for STEC O103. STEC O103 can cause diarrhea (often bloody) and vomiting, typically appearing 2-8 days (average of 3-4 days) after consumption. Most people recover within a week, but, rarely, some develop a more severe infection. Hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), a type of kidney failure, is uncommon but can occur in people of any age, particularly young children, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems.
Consumers are advised not to use or further distribute the product, and to throw it away or return it to the place of purchase. To ensure the product is cooked to a temperature high enough to kill harmful bacteria, a food thermometer should be used to measure the internal temperature.
In case you are experiencing E. coli symptoms such as watery diarrhea (often bloody), vomiting; stomach cramps; and mild fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.

What distributors processed this meat? What retailers sold it to consumers? I have been sick for 5 days. No updates from any govt agencies or health departments. I'll probably get my stool sample results back before the govt/media tell us where the beef was sold. Filed report with USDA FSIS and they forwarded to my state department of health.
