On 11/4/22, I ended up in the ER with food poisoning after drinking a smoothie from there (Vegan Mango Kale without protein but added cocoa). I experienced nausea, stomach cramping, fatigue, chills and vomiting. As a result of the vomiting, I temporarily lost my voice (hoarseness). The... See More nurse in ER said the acid from vomiting can cause hoarseness. I was feeling awful. On 11/5/22 my husband and I called them and asked for the manager. My husband had to do most of the talking for me since I had lost my voice. The manager said he'd have another manager call me. She did call. She talked about how this particular location had never had any problems and how clean their facility was. She asked if the doctor told me that my problem could have come from something that I ate a few days ago because sometimes that's the case. I told her I didn't get sick until I consumed the smoothie. I told her that I didn't expect them to take any accountability or responsibility (I knew that they would deny anything on their end) but I wanted them to know what happened to me so they could check the facility so that this wouldn't happen to anyone else. She said she knows what I'm going through because she's had food poisoning before. I told her in my 69 years this is my first time experiencing this. She apologized, hoped that I would feel better and said she'll check on me in a few days. The hospital gave me some literature on food poisoning. It states symptoms start 1-24 hrs after consuming the bad food. My symptoms started around an hour after drinking the smoothie. The worse was between 3-4 hours after I finished it. I have no doubt that it was the smoothie. It's made me leery about eating anything. Particularly since I still feel sickly. So I have a problem. I am very particular when I eat. Like I find something I really like to eat and suddenly that’s all I crave and I will literally only eat that. Well I recently got that craving for Lucky Charms cereal. Like I literally... See More eat it 3-4 times a day. I know it sounds crazy but when I think about eating something else nothing sounds good. Well as I’ve been on my “Lucky Charms Obsession” (that’s what my sister calls it@ I have noticed that I am having significant abdominal pain, gas, and diarrhea. When I pass gas it smells very foul but almost has a Lucky Charms smell to it. When I have diarrhea it literally is GREEN and it smells foul but also semi-sweet. It smells like Lucky Charms. I’ve had 4 different people tell me that. I also can’t seem to hold it. Like when I eat Lucky Charms and my stomach starts cramping, making weird noises, and getting gassy I have to go to the bathroom immediately. I don’t know what’s going on with Lucky Charms but I can 100% say it is the Lucky Charms causing this because I literally don’t eat any else. Well now I’m fixing to have to because this hurts so much and is so uncomfortable. I just want to know what is going on because I haven’t seen or heard of a recall and I know several people have reported this. I figured since General Mills has done anything about it or even acknowledged there could be a problem with it to the public that I might as well go ahead and tell my story too. Unless you're just eating dry cereal I think you might be leaving out an important detail in your post. I used to get the same symptoms every time I used good ol' cows milk. I switched to almond milk and it's been all good ever since. Also I love them marshmallows too but in large enough quantities the dyes in them will make stuff green at the end of the rainbow.

I ate dry cereal and had the same problem. 1 bowl and not even 30 min later intense cramps and nausea. Something is wrong with this cereal, no one should be getting sick immediately following eating something.

Came in on October 9th, 2022 around 7pm. Ordered a bacon cheese burger. A few hours later I ate nothing else and started to feel a little sick. I fell super weak and everytime I would stand for longer than a minute, I would puke. So I just stayed in bed and almost missed my flight the next day due to not being able to move without puking.
