On 11/4/22, I ended up in the ER with food poisoning after drinking a smoothie from there (Vegan Mango Kale without protein but added cocoa). I experienced nausea, stomach cramping, fatigue, chills and vomiting. As a result of the vomiting, I temporarily lost my voice (hoarseness). The... nurse in ER said the acid from vomiting can cause hoarseness. I was feeling awful. On 11/5/22 my husband and I called them and asked for the manager. My husband had to do most of the talking for me since I had lost my voice. The manager said he'd have another manager call me. She did call. She talked about how this particular location had never had any problems and how clean their facility was. She asked if the doctor told me that my problem could have come from something that I ate a few days ago because sometimes that's the case. I told her I didn't get sick until I consumed the smoothie. I told her that I didn't expect them to take any accountability or responsibility (I knew that they would deny anything on their end) but I wanted them to know what happened to me so they could check the facility so that this wouldn't happen to anyone else. She said she knows what I'm going through because she's had food poisoning before. I told her in my 69 years this is my first time experiencing this. She apologized, hoped that I would feel better and said she'll check on me in a few days. The hospital gave me some literature on food poisoning. It states symptoms start 1-24 hrs after consuming the bad food. My symptoms started around an hour after drinking the smoothie. The worse was between 3-4 hours after I finished it. I have no doubt that it was the smoothie. It's made me leery about eating anything. Particularly since I still feel sickly. I'm sure I'll soon get over that feeling of being leery, but that's how I'm currently feeling. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Chills, Fatigue, Cramps

If I was reviewing this place a week ago, I would have given it 4 stars. This was, until tonight, one of our weekly go to places. We have tried all different times and days and we always had good experience. The service is decent, I say... decent because they have forgotten a few things before like a few appetizers we ordered that never came, a roll here and there or the side of spicy mayo but the staff has always been nice and pleasant so no big complaints. That is until tonight. It’s a Monday night, we ordered our usual, a cooked appetizer and 3 rolls to share. We have always liked the dancing shrimp roll which we got tonight. However tonight the roll was horrible, it was spoiled, as in not safe to eat. I am not sure if anyone else has ever had food poisoning, but you usually know exactly what caused it. The shrimp – crab mix that has an orange sauce was not good or safe for human consumption. It smelled off and it tasted way off, it was even worse the second time on the way out.
I told the server what happened she took the roll off the bill and took away the two rolls we had not eaten then proceeded to bring us a check for our appetizer and drinks. I was shocked it was so nonchalant and they had the nerve to hand us a bill after that. The owner wasn’t there, there was no manager but the senior server – hostess came over and I told her what happened, she said she knew we ordered the same thing each time so I would know if it wasn’t right. I emphasized to her that I needed to leave because I felt sick, and they needed to pull the shrimp-crab mix and check the other items in the roll because people might get sick. I called the other location on HWY22 to try and reach the owner, I spoke with a manager who simply stated they weren’t at that location so deal with the HWY21 location even though there was no manager there. I’m reporting this to poison control and won’t be going back. They should have taken accountability. I hope they pulled the item and no one else gets sick. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting

I was poisoned from a vegetarian bean and rice dollar menu burrito, and a potato Taco with the new cherry slush.
I have been sick for three days and I may need to go to the doctor but I don't have insurance. I really want them to... pay for my visit this is fucked up. I'm a line cook, and I know as a line cook I'm a reflection of my boss and have been told to relabel expired items. Because people want to save more money on food waste rather than sell good quality product.
This is what happens when you do it.
