on December 23 2022 my wife bought a bag of General Mills Lucky Charms cereal the version in the bag not the box and i ate a bowl of it for breakfast every morning and about half way through the bag i started to feel ill after... See More eating a bowl of it my stomach began to hurt and feel strange then i began feeling like something was bubbling its way back up my throat so i ran for the toilet the moment i got to the toilet i started gagging and then i started throwing up something that was colorful and tasted like the lucky charms i had just ate i puked up the whole bowl i had ate after that i was too scared to eat any more of it thinking something in me didn't agree with the cereal, then a week later on December 30 2023 she bought a bag of General Mills Reese's Puffs cereal which i started eating a bowl for breakfast every morning cause i was still to scared to eat the lucky charms cereal by January 10 2023, 30 minutes after finishing a good bowl of the Reese's Puffs cereal i started to feel that same feeling again like the one i felt after eating the Lucky Charms cereal thinking maybe if i just sit here a minute or 2 maybe it will go away then a minute later i felt the same something bubbling its way up my throat feeling so i ran to the toilet passing by my son running to the toilet once again the moment i got to it all i can say is a scene from the Exorcist movie i projectile puking out Reese's Puffs cereal all in the toilet the whole bowl of Reese's Puffs i ate and now its January the 12 2023 and everything i eat i end up throwing it back up and another symptom has has been happening i have loads of gas (i fart a lot. now Lucky Charms and Reese's Puffs are both my favorite cereals my kids love them too lucky my kids didn't get a chance to eat some before I got sick from the cereal cause they were going to school and eating there each of those times but i have something to say to General Mills cereal company "you made me a loyal costumer terrified to eat anymore of your cereal brands... Glenn Wayne Bakery of Bohemia, NY recalled Chocolate Iced Donuts, Boston Cream Donuts, Brownies and Walnut Brownies out of an abundance of caution because of a potential foreign material hazard in its icing which can cause serious injury if swallowed. These products were distributed to New York... See More State’s Westchester, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau, Suffolk, Dutchess and Rockland counties in retail stores. All products were pulled from shelves immediately upon notice. There have been no reported injuries to date.

The recalled products are Chocolate Iced Donuts, Boston Cream Donuts, Brownies and Walnut Brownies. Donuts were packed into paper-lined trays for self-service; donuts were made on 12/15/22, and no lot information is available on trays once placed on display. Brownies came in a 3.5-ounce, clear plastic package marked with a best by date of 12/18/22 on the bottom.

The recall was the result of a consumer complaint of glass in the donut icing, which was later proved to be unfounded (i.e., confirmed to be sucrose) by a food forensics laboratory. The company has ceased using the icing and as a result of the food forensics laboratory’s investigation, considers the matter an isolated and closed incident.
