Food Lion has issued a recall for select in-store prepared ground beef varieties from its Seaford, Delaware location due to potential contamination with fragments of processing equipment. The recall is limited to products sold at the store on Sussex Highway.AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
73% Lean Fresh Ground Beef (All Sizes)
80% Lean Fresh Ground Chuck (All Sizes)
85% Lean Fresh Ground Round (All Sizes)
93% Lean Fresh Ground Beef (All Sizes)
These items were produced on April 28, 2026, with a Sell By Date of April 30, 2026.
The issue was discovered following a mechanical malfunction. The recall was announced on April 28, 2026.
