I went to the Dominican Republic to visit family and stayed for two weeks in la Vega which is close to the second capital Santiago . On the third to last day we went to puerto plata at the beach . That same night I got extremely sick and had severe diarrhea . My stool was light brown with mucus!!! I flew back immediately to seek treatment in New York City . Turned out I had a severe bacterial infection . Won’t be going back for awhile until I figure out a way to cook my own food and filter my own water smh | Síntomas: Diarrea, Náusea, Vómitos, Mucosidad en las heces
