My husband and I went to Ocean Blue & Sand Resort in January of 2017. The first day the maid opened the outside door to our room without even knocking she just came in and hit me in my arm which is handicapped. We had the wrong room and they told us that it was the room we reserved and it wasn't they told us they could not change it until Tuesday, and it was Sunday. Went to dinner that night got on the tram to go and he stopped at the steak house and I stepped off with one foot and had one foot still on and he took off with me hanging off the side of the tram if had not been for my husband and everyone holloring he would have run over me. I went to the office to report these and the head woman there and told me that they were not responsible for anything that happened to anyone staying on their Resort, she wanted to know it I got his name and I told her that he took off.
I asked her even if was your employee who caused it and she told no, they were not responsible. She was very rude and nasty .On Tuesday, they moved us to another room, went in put suitcases on other side of room and my husband layed his phone on the night stand and called me over to look at it and it was covered with bugs. I called the front desk to inform them and they told me they knew it. I told them why would you put someone in a room that is infested with bugs and they said the whole building was infested and that we would have to leave for up to 1 hour so they could spray, and then we could come back. The day before we left I started feeling sick. When I got home it was really bad. Went to the hospital 3 times for dehydration. I had parasite, and E-coli. I was sick for 7 months. It was bad. I found out that you can get the parasite from the pool, the water at the beach, the shower, and the water which you think is ok to drink which is filtered is, BUT the ice isn't filtered. I also drank the water from the restaurant and had a frozen drink by the pool. Also I tried to check to see if it was the pesticide they were using making me sick and they would not tell me what it was. I contacted the Resort to let them know how sick I had gotten and contacted AM Resorts n Barcelona, Spain numerous times which is owned by H10 and they would tell me that someone would contact me and noone did. I just want to let them know what was going on there before more winded up sick or worse. It's ashame that people have to die to get someone to listen about these places. I hope that someone will finally step in and get this solved for everyone, especially the ones who have died. This is so sad that it had to come to this.
