The Herb and Spice Mill Ltd is recalling a specific batch of Belazu brand Vegan Basil Pesto due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, pine nut. The product is imported from the UK and sold at selected retail outlets throughout New Zealand and online.The product recalled is the Belazu brand Vegan Basil Pesto, sold in a 165g glass jar. The batch has a best before date of 05/05/2025. This recall does not affect any other Belazu brand products. The product has not been re-exported, and is only available in selected retail outlets and online in New Zealand.
People with a tree nut (pine nut) allergy should not consume this product. If you have consumed any of this product and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.
