Bellarine Brownie Company has issued a recall for its Belgian Chocolate Vegan brownies due to undeclared allergens (cashew and egg) caused by an incorrect product being packed in the packaging. The product was distributed to independent food retailers in Victoria.The recalled product is the Bellarine Brownie Belgian Chocolate Vegan (86g). The batch carries a best before date of May 16, 2024. The recall was initiated due to the presence of undeclared cashew and egg allergens, resulting from an incorrect product being packed in the packaging.
Consumers who have a cashew and egg allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
