Bob Evans Farms has voluntarily recalled its Original Mash Potato product due to the potential presence of foreign material, specifically red plastic. The recall affects products distributed in Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Wisconsin.

The product recalled Bob Evan's Original Mash Potato, 2lb (32 oz) packaged in black plastic trays with clear film and a corrugate sleeve overwrap. Each case contains 6 units. The recall pertains to Batch No. 2392939, Lot No KCL1, Product No 10000534, UPC 75900005349, Packer No KCL1, with a best-before date of 4/18/24. A total of 410 cases have been recalled. The recall was initiated on March 4, 2024, and as of now, it is ongoing.
